Join us for this FREE on-line event where our expert panel will discuss how to navigate the world of diversity, equity and inclusion, (DEI) and what it means to participate and be a powerful part of the solution.

    Here's our powerful panel:

    1.  Dr. Diane Johnson - Diane is CEO and Founder of Mmapeu Management Consulting, a national consulting firm committed to aligning mission, vision and values for impact investors, social enterprises, and purpose-driven businesses.  She is particularly interested in and committed to creating dynamic, sustainable and equitable models of market and community benefits.

    2.  Brigette Iarrusso - Brigette is CEO of Embrace Change, a firm that connects and accelerates diverse purpose-driven business leaders to make an impact and make a living while remaining in balance and in service to people and planet. Her work is grounded in emotional intelligence, a strong lens around equity and inclusion and a deep commitment to intercultural communication and collaboration.

    3.  Emily Levy - Emily is Founder of PowerToMakeADifference.com and a national leader in the movement for secure and transparent elections. In her over 50 years of activism, she has also worked on issues from election security to racism, from women’s rights to LGBT liberation, and from pesticide spraying over California cities to stopping the construction of a nuclear power plant.

Topics will include looking at how to participate and engage with DEI at the individual, business, and systemic levels, examples of what has worked and not worked, steps you can take wherever you are on your journey, and more.

Gratitude to our host: Board Secretary, Amit Raikar, Leadership Coach, ARC Performance Coaching.

Amit helps help managers overcome the fear of difficult conversations so they can create a culture of accountability and care.

Culture happens. Will you drive and shape it or will something else?

Culture is the embodied values, principles and practices underlying the social fabric of a business, signaling “how” business is done. The culture of your business is its heartbeat. Without a healthy one, the business will ultimately fail. A Conscious Culture fosters love and care and builds trust between a company’s team members and its other stakeholders. Conscious Culture also includes accountability, transparency, integrity, loyalty, egalitarianism, fairness, and personal growth, acting as an energizing and unifying force that truly brings a conscious business to life.

Join us October 30th 1pm at Hanson Bridgett in San Francisco

A reception will follow from 6-8pm

Who: You are the owner of a small to medium sized business, or you’re a leader in a larger company who manages a team. You’re concerned about your company’s culture and want to make it great, but you don’t exactly know how. You’ve probably done some things to have a great culture, but you’re not exactly sure what’s working and what’s not.

What: Learn specific, tactical, actionable strategies to improve your company’s culture. You’ll be able to identify where your culture sits on the TACTILE scale (the 7 qualities of a conscious culture: Trust, Accountability, Caring, Transparency, Integrity, Learning, Empowerment) and target what your best next steps are for improving. You’ll identify the top three values that drive your organization, and develop a set of behaviors that will serve to operationalize those values. Partner with other leaders on the conscious business journey and share best practices. Create an accountability plan to make it all happen. And then celebrate with a reception to further deepen the connections you make.
